Active immunity – The adaptive (specific) immune response to extracellular pathogens – Online course

Disease causing organisms come in many shapes and sizes. Some live on you while others live within you. Those that live in the spaces between your cells are known as extracellular pathogens. To remove these pathogens, an adaptive (specific) humoral immune response is often needed.

In this course you will explore the sequence of steps your immune system needs to go through in order to generate an adaptive (specific) humoral immune response.
