Our professional learning programs provide the opportunity to trial freely available GTAC student resources working in small groups with colleagues. Each group is supported by a GTAC Education Officer. These resources support the delivery of the levels 5 and 6 Digital Technology curriculum.

Our approach is to provide a sequence of pedagogies that can be applied across different curriculums to promote computational thinking to solve problems.

This sequence is designed to develop student skills in problem solving through the use of observation, planning, action and reflection cycles.

We provide ongoing support through online resources and linking up with you and/or your class using video conferencing.

Program features:

Decomposition of a problem

Breaking a problem down into smaller components and designing a digital solution to solve the problem

Design code

Using the free, online coding tool 'Snap!' you will apply your knowledge of basic code to write a simple program for a digital device

Trial and troubleshoot your code
