Examining forensic evidence through case studies
Educational design: Jacinta Duncan, Chris Szwed & Alexandra Sipidias
This resource guides students through an online course in which they explore two famous Australian cases, the disappearances of Azaria Camberlain and Peter Falconio. Students use these case studies to critically examine the forensic evidence police uncovered during their investigation and analyse it to determine if they think the suspects are guilty or innocent.
This course may be used as critical thinking task prior to attending the GTAC program - 'Forensic investigations using cell and DNA technologies'.
Students can access this course by visiting Students > Online Courses on the GTAC website.
Level - Years 9 & 10
Estimated duration - 45 minutes
