Your body at war – International Day of Immunology
The International Day of Immunology (29th April) is an exciting, global annual event that, in Victoria, showcases this state’s contribution to research and education in this exciting field of science.
To celebrate the occasion, GTAC will again host the acclaimed full-day program “Your Body at War” for students of Unit 3 VCE Biology. The program provides an excellent opportunity for students and teachers to meet and work with accomplished local immunologists.
This is a free program for Victorian students.
This year’s programs will be launched in Ballarat with a date for regional students and will conclude in Melbourne with two dates for metropolitan students. Places for all dates are limited! Based upon expressions of interest received from schools, GTAC will issue invitations to schools to bring 10 students each for the Melbourne dates and up to 25 students for the Ballarat date.
Expression of interest must be received by Friday 21st February. Invitations for schools to attend will be issued from 28th February onwards.
